Phone system installer in Casablanca: how to choose one
Choosing a phone system installer in Casablanca: verifiable vendor certifications, questions to ask, how a project runs, network, cabling and after-sales support.

The short answer: a good phone system installer in Casablanca is recognised less by the brand they sell than by what they do before and after installation. Before: they audit your network and lines, count your concurrent calls and hand you a written cut-over plan. During: they secure the system against fraud and document everything. After: they commit in the contract to updates, monitoring and a response time. And their partner status can be confirmed by the vendor, not just read on a brochure.
This guide is for managers and office administrators who must choose a provider to install or replace a phone system. It complements our guide to business IP phone systems in Morocco, which covers the choice of the solution itself.
Why the installer matters as much as the phone system
3CX, Yeastar and Grandstream are proven solutions. Yet most problems we find when taking over a phone system do not come from the product: choppy audio because voice shares the network without priority, calls dropping after a few dozen seconds because of a badly configured router, an admin interface open to the internet, the factory password still in place, no configuration backup, nobody to change the greeting.
A phone system stays in service for many years. Choosing the installer commits you for that whole period: who will update the system, who will answer when reception stops ringing, who will know what was configured and why.
Vendor certifications: what they prove and how to check them
Phone system vendors train and certify the integrators who deploy their products. These statuses are useful, provided you know how to read them.
| Vendor | What exists | How to check |
|---|---|---|
| 3CX | Partner levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Titanium) and Basic and Advanced technical certifications from the 3CX Academy | Partner ID and named certificate, to be confirmed by 3CX |
| Yeastar | Certified partners and the Yeastar Academy certification path, from technician (YSCT) to expert (YSCE) | Yeastar Academy certification verification page |
| Grandstream | Integrators and resellers, training on UCM and GDMS products | References, command of GDMS and RemoteConnect in a technical discussion |
Two points to keep in mind. At 3CX, the partner level (Bronze, Silver…) mainly reflects business volume, while the certification (Basic or Advanced) reflects the team’s technical skills; the two are separate. At Yeastar, certification is personal: ask who in the team holds it, and whether that person will work on your project.
To be transparent: ALLSAFE SOLUTIONS is a 3CX partner in Morocco at Bronze level, Advanced certified, a Yeastar certified partner and a Grandstream integrator. Our IDs and statuses are listed on our certifications and badges page, and we send certificates on request.
Questions to ask before signing
Ask every provider the same questions, in writing, and compare the answers.
- Will you audit the network before quoting? A quote written without a visit or a network survey is an estimate, not a commitment.
- How did you count our concurrent calls? This figure sizes the system and the licence far more than headcount does.
- Hosted or on premises, and why for us? The answer must start from your constraints: analogue lines, remote work, continuity, data. See cloud or on-premises phone system.
- How do we keep our numbers? SIP trunk, gateway or both, and who handles the carrier. See SIP trunk: keeping your business numbers.
- What is the cut-over plan? Date, order of operations, and a way back if something does not work.
- Which security measures are included? Passwords, restricted admin access, limited international calling, encryption of remote calls.
- What happens to the fax, door entry, alarm and lift lines? These analogue devices are often forgotten until cut-over day.
- Who trains reception and users? A phone system nobody understands is a phone system nobody uses fully.
- Who holds the admin access and the licence? They must be in your name, documented and recoverable if you change provider.
- What after-sales support, with what written response time? A verbal promise is worth nothing on a Saturday morning.

Warning signs in a proposal
Some proposals deserve a second look, even when they seem complete:
- The hardware is detailed, the service is not. A list of handsets and an appliance, with no mention of configuration, training or follow-up, signals an installer who delivers boxes.
- A single solution, presented as the only option. Every phone system has its strengths; a provider who masters several can explain why they rule some out for you.
- No questions about your business. Opening hours, call peaks, mobile teams, secondary sites: without them, the IVR menu and call queues will be generic.
- The word “unlimited” without details. Users, concurrent calls, recording storage and mobile apps all have ceilings set by the licence or the hardware.
- Nothing about security. Toll fraud specifically targets phone systems that were installed and then forgotten.
Conversely, a good sign is a provider who tells you what they will not do, or who advises you to keep existing equipment that is still in good shape.
Proximity and remote work
An IP phone system is largely managed remotely: adding an extension, changing a schedule, updating, diagnosing a trunk. Proximity still matters on cut-over day, for a handset to replace or a faulty cable, and for local knowledge: Moroccan carriers, line connections, reception habits in French and Arabic. Ask who works on site, from where, and what is handled remotely.
Network and cabling: the invisible half of the project
Voice over IP copes poorly with packet loss, jitter and dropouts. A serious installer therefore looks at the network before the handsets:
- Cabling: condition of outlets, cable category, link lengths, patch panel. Our business network cabling guide explains what to check.
- Switches: PoE power for handsets, enough capacity for all ports in use, voice in a dedicated VLAN with quality of service.
- Firewall and router: SIP ALG disabled when it disrupts calls, rules limited to the carrier’s addresses, controlled remote access.
- Internet link: enough upload bandwidth, and a second link or 4G backup if the system or SIP trunk depends on it.
- WiFi: essential if WiFi handsets or mobile apps are used on the premises.
The most common faults are described in the mistakes that ruin call quality. When pulling new cables is impossible, in an old building or a warehouse, DECT handsets connected to an IP base are often the right answer.
How a well-run project unfolds
| Stage | What you should receive |
|---|---|
| Audit | Survey of lines and contracts, call volumes, network condition, list of analogue devices |
| Proposal | Recommended and justified solution, hardware and licence list, numbering plan, cut-over plan |
| Preparation | Configuration in the workshop: extensions, IVR menus, call queues, schedules, provisioned handsets |
| Network | Voice VLAN, PoE, firewall rules, quality tests |
| Cut-over | SIP trunk or line connection, inbound and outbound call tests, on-site presence |
| Training | Reception, users, mobile app, internal contact person |
| Documentation | Numbering plan, access, network diagram, configuration backed up outside the system |
| Follow-up | Monitoring, updates, review after the first weeks of use |
We do not give a typical duration: it depends on the number of extensions, the state of the network and above all the carrier’s lead time to deliver a SIP trunk or transfer numbers. An installer who promises a firm date before talking to your carrier is taking a risk on your behalf.
After-sales support: what the contract must say
Once the system is installed, the real work begins. Check that the contract specifies:
- Updates to the system and handsets, and who triggers them.
- Backup of the configuration, and its restoration after a failure.
- Monitoring: is the provider alerted when the SIP trunk goes down, or do they learn it from your call?
- Response time and handling of critical incidents, in writing.
- Routine changes included: adding an extension, new opening hours, an exceptional closure message.
- Reversibility: handover of access, licence and documentation if you change provider.
Mistakes we fix after another installer
- Licence registered to the installer, impossible to transfer without them.
- Admin interface reachable from the internet, with no address restriction.
- International calls open to every extension, the entry point for toll fraud.
- No backup of the configuration outside the appliance.
- Voice and data on the same network without priority, hence degraded audio at busy times.
- Fax and door entry forgotten, found out of service after cut-over.
- No documentation: nobody knows which IVR option goes where.
Checklist to compare quotes
- Partner status and certificates confirmed by the vendor.
- Network audit done or planned before commitment.
- Concurrent calls counted, not just users.
- Solution justified by your constraints, with alternatives explained.
- Written number-retention and cut-over plan.
- Security measures listed in the quote.
- Analogue devices identified.
- Training included.
- Licence and access in your name.
- After-sales support with a written response time.

How we work
Based in Casablanca, we work on site across Morocco. We start with a free audit of your telephony: lines and contracts, call volumes, network, cabling, analogue devices. We then recommend the right solution among 3CX, Yeastar and Grandstream, without bias, and we supply the hardware and licences, with or without installation. Configuration is prepared in our workshop, cut-over is planned with your carrier, and security is part of the installation, not an option.
After go-live, the system and lines are monitored 24/7, we reply within 24 business hours and a critical incident is handled in under 15 minutes. Explore our IP telephony in Morocco offering, see our case studies, then request your free telephony audit.
Frequently asked questions
How can I check that an installer really is a 3CX or Yeastar partner?
Ask for the partner ID and the named certificates, then have the vendor confirm them: 3CX knows each partner by its ID, and Yeastar provides a certification verification page on its Yeastar Academy site. A status shown on a website without an ID or certificate proves nothing.
Do we need new cabling for an IP phone system?
Not necessarily. Category 6 network cabling in good condition, PoE switches and a separate voice VLAN are often enough. The audit shows what can be kept, what must be redone, and whether DECT or WiFi handsets can avoid pulling new cables.
Can we keep our numbers when changing installer or phone system?
Yes in most cases: the numbers belong to your carrier contract, not to the phone system. They reach the new system through a SIP trunk or a gateway that takes over your existing lines. The cut-over is planned to avoid any outage.
What should after-sales support for a phone system cover?
Security updates, configuration backup, monitoring of the system and lines, a written response time, handling of critical incidents, and routine changes: adding an extension, changing opening hours, recording a new greeting.
Do you work outside Casablanca?
Yes. We are based in Casablanca and work on site across Morocco. Configuration, monitoring and most troubleshooting are done remotely, so distant sites can be supported without waiting for travel for routine work.
