Which FortiGate model for my company?
It depends on internet bandwidth, user count and enabled features (SSL inspection above all). We size after an audit, with headroom for three years.
Is a licence needed every year?
Security services (IPS, antivirus, web filtering) and support are annual or multi-year subscriptions. We manage renewals within the managed services contract.
Can you take over an existing FortiGate?
Yes. We audit the existing configuration, document it and bring it up to standard before operating it.
